School House Teams

All children in school are assigned a house team. We now have 5 new house teams, these represent the rings on the Olympic flag.
RED = Americas GREEN = Oceania YELLOW = Asia BLUE = Europe BLACK = Africa
In line with our behaviour policy, children are awarded house points for displaying working hard, displaying positive attitudes and helping others. At the end of each week, the winning team is revealed in assembly and their colours are displayed on the House Team Trophy. At the end of each term, we announce the winning team for that term and they are rewarded accordingly.
During whole school sports events your (sports day, etc.) children will be asked to wear a t-shirt in their house colour.
Throughout the year children take part in "task days" these relate to their house teams. This helps children with their learning and understanding about different parts of the world. At the end of the day each team gets a chance to show the other teams what they have learnt.
A list of which house team your child is in, is available to view in school.
