Support for parents
We understand that parenting can be hard sometimes. On this page, you will find a range of links / information about where you can go for additional help or support. All links are offered in good faith – please let us know if any are not working correctly. A council-run ‘Early Help’ service to support families with a wide range of issues; including family relationships, mental / physical health and improving financial stability. School can make a referral on your behalf and / or organise a ‘Family Advice Session’ with our designated link worker. Engaging with the service is entirely voluntary and it is NOT the same as social care.
Sheffield Parent Hub deliver a range of evidence-based practical help and advice programmes; including seminars, discussion groups and group programmes. They cover a variety of topics such as co-parenting, sleep support and parenting children with additional needs.

Yes, we did spell that correctly! NeurodiverCity is a Sheffield-based support service for the families of children and young people living with neurodivergence. This includes informal drop-in sessions and post-diagnostic support for people with ADHD.
