School Uniform

We ask all our children to wear the following uniform throughout the school year:

– Navy or Jade polo shirt (with or without school logo)

– Navy or Jade jumper / fleece / cardigan (optional, depending on weather)

Our PTA (FoWSS) have a limited supply of ‘pre-loved’ uniform in stock; please ask at the office if you would like to take a look.

 Children are also required to wear:

– Dark trousers / skirt / leggings / shorts (with no stripes / markings)

– Sensible black shoes or trainers

Blue & white ‘gingham’ dresses (available from most supermarkets) are acceptable during warmer weather.

Wearing the correct uniform:
– Promotes a sense of pride in the school
– Helps to create a sense of community and belonging towards the school
– Identifies pupils with the school
– Supports the school’s commitment to inclusion
– Prevents pupils from wearing ‘fashion clothes’ that could be distracting in class
– Is practical, smart, and designed with health and safety in mind
– Is considered good value for money by most parents

Note: We do not allow jewellery except watches or small stud earrings (and these must be taken out for PE).

PE Kits

It is just as important to wear the correct PE kit. To maximise the use of time in PE lessons, we allow children to come to school in their PE kit on their designated PE days (communicated by your child’s class teacher). We are a healthy school and may do additional physical activity sessions on other days.

In cold weather, and via agreement with the class teacher, children may be allowed to wear tracksuits for outdoor sessions.
